On March 16, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations, writer-publicist, honored journalist Sayyad Aran met with Reform Volunteers under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
Opening the meeting, Matanat Rasulova, a representative of the Center, informed about the “Reform Volunteers” Organization established in 2016 as part of the Center. She said that the priority goal in establishing the volunteer program is to discover and effectively use the existing potential of the youth in the economic and analytical fields, guide them in their future careers and help them evaluate their leisure time. Then M.Rasulova informed the youth about Sayyad Aran's prosperous lifetime and great experience of statehood.
Giving detailed information to the reform volunteers, Sayyad Aran, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations, said that ensuring control over the observance of legislation on freedom of religion, state registration of religious organizations, promoting mutual understanding, tolerance and respect between religious organizations of different faiths, confrontation on religious grounds, as well as cases of discrimination, prevention of other negative manifestations are the the main directions of the activity of the Committee. At the same time, the First Deputy Chairman spoke about the services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the people and state of Azerbaijan. He noted that the Nationwide Leader had exceptional services in ensuring human rights and freedoms in the country, protecting moral values, educating the younger generation in a healthy spirit, as well as the development of science, education, culture and other areas. Today, this policy is successfully pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.
Sayyad Aran called on the youth to be more committed to education, science and moral values, wished them success in their future endeavors and gave them valuable advice. At the end, S. Aran answered the questions of the participants about the activities of the State Committee, as well as the work of the First Deputy Chairman.
The youth thanked Sayyad Aran, an intellectual with a prosperous lifetime and extensive experience in statehood, for a useful meeting.
At the end, S.Aran got acquainted with the activities of "One Stop-Shop" Export Support Center located in CAERC.
