Ganira Pashayeva Met with Volunteers at the CAERC

Upon the initiative of the Reform Volunteers Organization of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ganira Pashayeva met with volunteers on "The role of youth in the promotion of Azerbaijani culture". During the online meeting, Ganira Pashayeva first informed the volunteers about the reforms implemented in the cultural sphere of our country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as international decisions adopted.

She spoke about the great role of volunteer organizations, as well as youth in promoting the culture of our country. She stressed that Azerbaijan has its own cultural values and criteria that are already recognized around the world. Thus, in order to preserve and develop our cultural heritage through their innovative activities, young people must first know their history.

Moreover, G.Pashayeva spoke about the Decree on announcing 2021 the year of Nizami Ganjavi in the Republic of Azerbaijan. She noted that the brilliant heritage of genius Nizami, which has become an integral part of the spirit of our people, has retained its decent place in the unparalleled cultural treasures of the East for centuries. Azerbaijani youth must also contribute to the development of our country in the economic, social, educational and other spheres by keeping the ideas of Nizami alive.

More than 100 volunteers, including Reform Volunteers, ASAN Volunteers, Agrarian Development Volunteers, DOST Volunteers, Customs Volunteers, BIR Volunteers and others, participated at the event, sharing their views with Committee Chairman and asking her questions interesting them.
