The Center for Analysis  of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) hosted the next meeting with startuppers  preparing for the “Big Idea Challenge 2022” idea contest of the “Creative Spark” project. The competition is initiated by the British Council, within the cooperation between CAERC and the University of Newcastle, England.

Elnur Aliyev, the project's country manager, made an opening speech at the meeting and informed about the project and its goals. Then the head of the EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal Matanat Musayeva told startuppers about the activities of the portal and other winning projects. Participating in the event, Nasiba Amirbayova, Head of the Innovative Business Incubator Center of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC), introduced the youth to the main dates, forms of making video pitching, correct classification of ideas and priority areas. Also, Turkan Aliyeva, the head of the Strategic Planning Department of AUAC explained the preliminary analysis of the ideas, the terms of the award and  the challenge and then held discussions with the mentors.

Elnur Mammadov,  student of AUAC, who won the “Stork” project last year at the challenge, and Kamala Mammadova,  student of Baku State University, who won the “New Generation 2.0 challenge” with the “Greenbomb” Project made speeches and supported the startuppers.

At the end of the event, more than 50 students of Baku State University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku Engineering University and Ganja Agrarian University, as well as volunteers of CAERC asked their questions about the project.
